Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”), your personal data may be processed by Şanap & Co., acting as the data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Categories of Personal Data Processed and Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the purposes specified below and limited to these purposes:

For the Purpose of Newsletter Service Provision and Subscription Management:

Identity Data: Name-surname.
Contact Data: E-mail address.
Subscription and Communication Preferences: Information regarding your newsletter subscription and other communication preferences.
Message and Transaction Records: Message sending and delivery records.

For the Purpose of Evaluating Job Applications and Conducting Human Resources Processes:

Identity Data: Name-surname, date of birth, Turkish ID number (if required by the relevant position).
Contact Data: E-mail address, phone number, address.
Professional Experience and Education Information: Curriculum vitae, diploma, certificate, reference information, work experience.
Other Information: Other personal data included in job application forms or CVs that do not fall into the above categories.

For the Purpose of Managing and Responding to Communication Requests:

Identity Data: Name-surname.
Contact Data: E-mail address, phone number.
Message and Transaction Records: Message contents transmitted via contact forms.

3. Method of Personal Data Collection

Your personal data may be collected by automatic or partially automatic methods through various electronic communication channels, such as by filling out the newsletter subscription form, job application forms, curriculum vitae (CVs), or by applying via e-mail.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your collected personal data may be transferred to Lavren for the purpose of providing and delivering the Lavren Official Gazette Summaries newsletter service offered by Şanap & Co.

Additionally, your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes stated above and in accordance with the personal data transfer conditions stipulated in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, to service providers offering e-mail infrastructure, information technologies, cloud hosting, information security, technical support, and consultancy services, to relevant departments for the evaluation of job applications, to third parties from whom human resources services are procured, and to legally authorized public institutions and organizations.

5. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for the duration of your newsletter subscription and for the retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation. In the event of termination of subscription, unsubscription, or cessation of the processing purpose, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with the relevant legislation.

6. Data Subject's Rights under Article 11 of the Law and Application Procedure

As data subjects, you have the following rights in accordance with Article 11 of the Law:

To learn whether personal data is processed,
To request information if personal data has been processed,
To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used appropriately for its purpose,
To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
To request correction if personal data is incomplete/incorrectly processed,
To request deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
To request notification of correction/deletion/destruction operations to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
To object to the emergence of an adverse outcome as a result of analysis exclusively by automatic systems,
To demand compensation for damages incurred due to unlawful processing of personal data.

You can submit your requests by sending an e-mail to info@sanap.co with "Personal Data Information Request" in the subject line.

Şanap & Co. will finalize your request free of charge as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days, depending on the nature of the request. If the process requires an additional cost, a fee determined by the Board may be requested.

8. Retention Periods and Destruction

Şanap & Co. retains personal data for the period necessary for the processing purposes and limited to the statute of limitations/retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods, it deletes, destroys, or anonymizes the data in accordance with the Law and relevant legislation.

9. Data Security Measures

Şanap & Co. takes all administrative and technical measures possible within the framework of the cost-benefit balance offered by current technologies for the protection and security of your personal data; it keeps its security practices up-to-date in line with relevant legal regulations and Board decisions.

10. Authority and Responsibility Regarding User-Uploaded Content

The User acknowledges that, regarding the content uploaded to or shared via the platform: (i) they possess the necessary legal authority, and (ii) they are responsible for informing relevant individuals and ensuring the necessary legal conditions (including explicit consent) for personal data belonging to third parties. Particularly, if User Content contains special categories of personal data, it is the User's responsibility to obtain all necessary legal grounds and consents under the KVKK for the processing of such data. Şanap & Co. may take measures it deems necessary to prevent the processing of content that is contrary to legislation or irrelevant to the purpose.
